Sena has over 35 years of broad-ranging industry experience in the planning, concept development, design, rehabilitation, and construction management of bridge structures of all types—particularly those with complex construction requirements in constrained or urban environments. He possesses considerable expertise in the behavior of long-span, flexible structural systems and in the evaluation, analysis, and design of structures subjected to seismic and wind effects.

Sena brings a high level of skill in advanced structural analysis and performance evaluation, as well as in developing practical, site-specific solutions that balance constructability, cost-effectiveness, and engineering rigor. Sena has contributed to numerous complex bridge projects through detailed design reviews and constructability enhancements.

Throughout his career, Sena has introduced innovative approaches that leverage high-strength materials, hybrid structural systems, and optimal configurations for long-span bridges—delivering not only economic and constructability benefits but also improvements in maintainability, safety, security, and architectural quality.
