Ralph Borjeson is a Senior Geotechnical Engineer with extensive experience in subsurface investigations, foundation design, and ground behavior analysis across a wide range of civil infrastructure projects. Over the course of his career with Parsons Brinckerhoff (PB), Ralph has contributed to numerous high-profile developments throughout the New England region, providing geotechnical expertise on both public and private sector projects.

Ralph has planned, executed, and supervised subsurface exploration programs, and has led the preparation of slope stability assessments, settlement analyses, and groundwater flow evaluations. His technical capabilities also include the planning and oversight of pile load test programs, often serving as a key liaison between design and field implementation teams.

He brings valuable experience in foundation investigations for a variety of structure types, including power plants, synthetic fuel facilities, highway bridges, retaining walls, transit infrastructure, schools, industrial complexes, and both above- and below-grade parking structures. Ralph’s in-depth understanding of soil behavior, foundation performance, and construction impacts enables him to deliver practical, cost-effective recommendations tailored to project-specific geologic and structural conditions.
